Here's Why You Do Not Need to Worry...
For many pet parents, their greatest worry about hiring a professional pet photographer is that their pet won’t cooperate for the camera. Here are a few of those common concerns I often hear from clients and why they really don't need to stress over them.
"My dog cannot be off-leash"
Here's a little secret, almost every dog I photograph is leashed during their session. The reason you don't see leashes in my images is that I removed them during post-production using Photoshop. So, whether we need to keep your pup safe (my top priority) or because the location we're shooting at requires it, keeping your dog's leash on is absolutely not a problem at all.
"My pet isn't well behaved"
While it's totally normal to feel embarrassed by your pet's amusing behavior during his session, please try not to worry about it. Trust me; I've seen it all! What you may see as embarrassing is simply normal animal behavior to me. You’ve hired a professional to get amazing photos of your pet...so the good news is you can just relax and let me worry about all the details. Whoo Hoo!
"My pet will never sit still long enough"
You're right if your pet is anything like the 99% I work with. They most likely won't sit still long. The good news is they don't have to. We have some tricks to keep them in place and safe!
"I'm worried my pet will get stressed out"
Our goal is to make sure your pet has a fun and positive photography experience. We will go over and beyond to keep them happy and work around their needs and personality. We like to give your pet as much freedom as possible so they can feel relaxed enough to let their true personality can shine. This is why we have them to guide the posing during the shoot. We will never push your pet to do anything they are unhappy about.
